University of Rochester to expand Patient Services in College Town Rochester
ROCHESTER, NY. – (May 8, 2017) – University of Rochester Medical Center will expand patient services in College Town Rochester next year with more than 20,000 square feet of leased space on Celebration Drive. Patients will benefit from first-floor access and close proximity to free parking, both in the garage and the large surface lot behind Barnes & Noble.
In addition to patient services, administrative and other University services may be added to this space, which was formerly Constantino’s Market.
“We’re thrilled to have the University of Rochester build on its presence at College Town with new services. We’re excited to offer patients and visitors free parking in addition to easy access to a number of complementing businesses, including places to dine and the newly opened CVS,” said Cass McCrory, Director of Marketing for College Town Rochester.
“The Medical Center is growing each year as our doctors and nurses across a wide range of clinical service areas care for more patients,” said Mary Ockenden, Associate Vice President and Director of Space Planning for URMC. “We are pleased that College Town can provide cost-effective space that will be convenient for patients, visitors and staff members while helping us to meet the increased demand for clinical care.” Ockenden said details about which practices or service areas will use the space will be announced in the next few months, with occupancy expected by the middle of 2018.
