College Town Announces Changes
College Town continues to experience exciting growth on a number of fronts. “We have been extraordinarily fortunate in the tenants College Town has attracted, and equally excited for the community gathering place College Town has become, attracting tens of thousands of visitors to our events and programming in the first year alone,” said Randy Ruttenberg of Fairmount Properties.
The Hilton Garden Inn at College Town and its restaurant, Grappa, continue to exceed their expectations. The Barnes & Noble University of Rochester Bookstore now serves as the community’s bookstore, bringing such things as children’s story hour and author events to the market.
The restaurant selection provides every conceivable international cuisine anyone could desire and there is a nice cluster of tenants geared toward health, fitness and relaxation, including breathe Yoga, Rochester Running Company and Michael Spitale Salon & Spa. Within the next 60 days, Bar 145 and Texas de Brazil will be opening their doors to great anticipation, and this fall, CVS will be opening a brand new 14,500 square-foot store at the corner of Mt. Hope and Crittenden. Our 154 residential units, Mount Hope Lofts, reached 100% occupancy within the first six months, mostly consisting of young professionals.
